The conference began with training sessions on 10th and 11th July 2026, followed by the main MUN conference from 16th to 18th July 2026. Through thought-provoking committee sessions and meaningful discussions, delegates explored global issues while developing critical thinking, public speaking, leadership, diplomacy, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
SMJMUN 2026 was a dynamic Model United Nations conference conducted at The VITS School, Indore, bringing together students from Grades 5–12 for an engaging experience in diplomacy, debate, and international affairs.
The conference provided students with a platform to express their perspectives, engage in constructive debate, and experience the world of international diplomacy in an inspiring and competitive environment.

Simulations & Agendas
UNICEF (United Nations Children's Fund)
Agenda: Addressing the Impact of Artificial Intelligence and Digital Media on Child Development and Safety. (Focuses on screen time, deepfakes, algorithmic targeting, and protecting children's mental health in a rapidly advancing digital age.)
WHO (World Health Organization)
Agenda: Formulating a Global Framework to Combat Antimicrobial Resistance (AMR) and Enhance Pandemic Preparedness. (Focuses on the rising threat of "superbugs," equitable access to antibiotics, and strengthening global healthcare infrastructure for future medical crises.)
UNESCO (United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization)
Agenda: Protecting Cultural Heritage in Armed Conflict Zones and Preventing the Illicit Trafficking of Antiquities. (Focuses on safeguarding historical sites during wars, recovering stolen artifacts, and preserving indigenous languages and cultures under threat.)
CSW (Commission on the Status of Women)
Agenda: Advancing the Economic Empowerment of Women in Developing Nations Through Access to Digital and STEM Technologies. (Focuses on closing the gender pay gap, improving female literacy in tech, and ensuring women are not left behind in the future digital economy.)
UNHRC (United Nations Human Rights Council)
Agenda: Protecting the Rights of Climate Refugees and Developing Legal Frameworks for Environmentally Displaced Persons. (Focuses on the growing crisis of populations forced to migrate due to rising sea levels, extreme weather, and resource scarcity, and establishing human rights protections for them.)

SMJMUN is open to high school and university students from across the globe. Previous MUN experience is not required, as we provide comprehensive training materials and guidance for first-time delegates.
Committees and countries are assigned based on delegate preferences, previous experience, and availability. We strive to ensure a balanced and rewarding committee experience for all participants.
Yes. Faculty advisors can register school delegations through our delegation registration process. Special benefits and support are available for institutional delegations.
Delegates should research their assigned country's position on the committee agenda and prepare a position paper before the conference. Study guides will be provided before the event.
